HEES is a Welsh Assembly Government scheme designed to combat fuel poverty in Wales.
A fuel poor household is one where more than 10% of income is needed to heat the home to an adequate standard of warmth. Fuel poverty can come about as the result of a combination of poor energy efficiency in homes, high energy prices and low incomes.
Many of our customers are amongst the most vulnerable people in society; some of whom may not feel comfortable about contacting us directly for help. You can help us reach those in greatest need by ensuring that everyone in your organisation has access to information about HEES.
